Work Environment\nThis position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while leveraging telehealth technologies to engage with clients. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools enabling seamless communication and effective therapy sessions. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team and will utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents, establishing a foundation for effective care. \n
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans that accommodate developmental stages and consider family dynamics, ensuring comprehensive support. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to treat a variety of mental health concerns. \n
- Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to educate and support parents and caregivers in creating nurturing environments for their children. \n
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and enhance treatment outcomes. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methods, and available community resources. \n
- Maintain detailed and secure documentation of patient interactions compliant with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Engage actively in team meetings, contributing to case consultations and sharing insights for professional development. \n
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research, trends, and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry. \n
You will primarily serve children and adolescents aged 5-18 who are experiencing mental health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and disruptive behavior disorders. Your approach will be tailored to each individual, keeping in mind cultural sensitivities and family context to foster an effective therapeutic alliance with both patients and their families.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Must hold a valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your capacity to engage with children and adolescents effectively. \n
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders as well as familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, tailored to develop trust and rapport with young clients and their families. \n
- Proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with remote therapeutic tools and platforms. \n
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment. \n

- Experience in delivering group therapy or workshops for children and adolescents. \n
- Familiarity with remote and telehealth therapeutic techniques would be advantageous. \n
- Prior experience in crisis intervention or inpatient settings is a plus. \n
The salary range for this position is USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and commitment expected of the successful candidate.
