Key Responsibilities Oversee contract administration processes, including intake, tracking key dates, signature management, and document retention. Assigning and monitoring contract work to ensure timely and accurate completion Monitor deadlines and review work product where needed, providing corrections and hands on continued training to legal assistants Stay knowledgeable about changes to procedures internally and communicate these changes to the team; Onboard and train new legal assistants on job skills and requirements Act as first contact for any questions related to the legal assistant role Required Skills and Qualifications Education & experience - Associate's degree, paralegal certificate or the equivalent required. At least six years of progressively responsible experience in a legal department or similar department with at least one year of supervisory or lead responsibility. Computer skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adaptability and flexibility - being open to change, adjusting quickly to new situations or priorities, and finding effective ways to move forward. Customer focus - building strong relationships with employees, internal & external customers by understanding their needs and expectations, responding to them promptly, and providing practical solutions. Results oriented/drive for results - focusing on achieving organizational goals and values by staying committed to performance and outcomes. Collaboration - working effectively with others across teams, departments, and levels to achieve shared goals. Confidentiality - ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Organizational skills & attention to detail - ability to manage multiple tasks and accurate record-keeping. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
