Custodian

As a member of our Custodial Team, you will be responsible for the daily and routine cleanliness of the venue. This is a seasonal, part-time position that will begin March 2025 and end September/October 2025. Essential duties include performing general cleaning to maintain the cleanliness of facility restrooms, event spaces, corridors, offices, suites, lobbies, docks, and building grounds, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, etc. Communicate effectively with management to respond to venue needs, ensuring cleaning standards and safety procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms including restocking and disinfecting. Assist with post-show cleanup of the lawn, seats, and surrounding areas. Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supply closets. Operate housekeeping equipment such as powered hand tools, riding machines, chemical dispensers, vacuum cleaner, trash compactor, floor scrubber, leaf blower, and golf carts. Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety concerns, damage, or loss of property promptly. Maintain predictable and reliable attendance. Adhere to dress code and present yourself in a friendly and approachable manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, one to three months related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills required include ability to perform routine housekeeping tasks without supervision, exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, clear and professional communication, confidentiality, some knowledge of radio communication, good judgment, ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, ability to work indoors and outdoors, and ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled overtime. Physical demands include standing for long periods, using hands/fingers, talking clearly, hearing, bending, walking, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying 50+ lbs, and exposure to adverse conditions such as loud noises and pyrotechnics. The position is seasonal and part-time from March to September/October 2025.
