Process Engineer

Process Engineer Location: Ashdown, AR, 71822 Job Description Provide technical expertise and leadership to the operations of the Fluff Pulp department, contributing to meet objectives for safety, environmental, quality, cost, and production performance. Qualifications & Working Conditions A bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Paper Science, Industrial). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions. Must be able to prioritize and assign resources appropriately. Candidate must be willing to work shift schedule as required. Skills & Competencies A working knowledge of pulp, power, or paper area operations is preferred, with an advanced knowledge of safety. Candidate must be a proficient user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to work with a group as a team member and the capacity to lead by example while ensuring employee accountability to all department requirements.
