Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN II) to join a busy clinical team in Sugar Land, TX. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator while ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with organizational and professional standards.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented LVN with strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience managing multiple patient needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the supervising nurse or provider.
• Prioritize and coordinate care for multiple patients in an efficient and organized manner.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.
• Utilize clinical equipment and supplies appropriate to the assigned patient population.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Vocational Nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage care for multiple patients.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient or ambulatory care environment.
• Knowledge of patient care equipment and supplies related to the assigned clinical area.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
