IT Support Specialist / VIP Desktop Support (MSP) Location: Uptown Dallas, TX | 100% Onsite Salary: $45,000–$60,000 Annually Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Opportunity We are seeking a polished, customer-focused IT Support Specialist / VIP Desktop Support Technician to join a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) that has been supporting businesses throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area for over 30 years. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career IT professional who enjoys working directly with people, providing exceptional technical support, and building long‑term relationships. Unlike a traditional help desk position, you'll work onsite at an exclusive wealth management office in Uptown Dallas, supporting a small group of approximately 6–7 users, including a senior executive who requires highly responsive, white‑glove technical support. When onsite support needs are light, you'll assist the MSP's broader client base by resolving remote Level I help desk tickets. This position offers the best of both worlds: dedicated executive desktop support and exposure to a variety of MSP client environments. What You'll Be Doing Provide immediate, high-priority technical support to a senior executive, ensuring technology issues are addressed quickly and professionally. Serve as the dedicated onsite IT support resource for approximately 6–7 office users. Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and everyday software issues. Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, email, calendars, and contacts. Configure and troubleshoot iPhones and other iOS devices, particularly email, calendar, and contact synchronization. Deliver exceptional white‑glove customer service in a professional executive office environment. Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activities in ConnectWise . Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when necessary. Assist with workstation setup, software installations, and general end‑user support. Maintain a professional, organized, and responsive approach to daily IT operations. What We're Looking For 1–3 years of IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience. Previous MSP experience is a plus. Strong Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook and email troubleshooting. Comfortable troubleshooting iPhones, iOS settings, and Microsoft email/calendar synchronization. Basic knowledge of networking, hardware, printers, and common end‑user issues. Familiarity with IT ticketing systems; ConnectWise experience is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional presentation and the ability to interact confidently with executives and high‑profile clients. Strong punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and follow‑through. A genuine interest in learning new technologies and growing within the IT industry. Comfortable working onsite five days per week in Uptown Dallas. Additional Experience That Stands Out Experience supporting small professional offices or financial services environments. Strong iPhone, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with ConnectWise or another MSP ticketing platform. Experience providing both onsite and remote end‑user support.
