Job Description: Technical Project Manager
eTeamSponsor is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and collaborate with our small, agile engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of our platform features. You will oversee workflows involving mid-level Full Stack engineers utilizing Node.js, Angular, Java, and Grails, while championing modern AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Cursor.

Core Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Team Collaboration & Workflow Optimization
- Manage and support a small, high-performing team of Full Stack engineers.
- Optimize development workflows, supporting the integration of AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate preparation, coding, and documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Tracking & Risk Management
- Maintain the team backlog, prioritize tasks, and resolve blockers to keep sprints on track.
- Track project performance, timelines, and resource allocation using project management tools.
- Identify potential technical or timeline risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Technical & Professional Experience
- 3–6 years of experience managing software development projects as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for full-stack applications.
- Proven track record of managing projects utilizing Node.js, Angular, or Java environments.
