Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Role Summary The Administrative Assistant/(Receptionist) is the first point of contact for our Meridian, Mississippi center, ensuring visitors, callers, and internal teams receive timely, accurate support. This role exists to keep front-desk operations organized, confidential, and customer-focused while supporting assigned leadership with essential administrative coordination. Key responsibilities include managing incoming calls and inquiries; preparing routine and confidential correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining filing and administrative records; coordinating interoffice and U.S. mail; assisting with preliminary project work; supporting meeting logistics (room set-ups and refreshments). Required qualifications/skills: High School Diploma or GED (required) Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Courteous, tactful approach to questions, concerns, and service requests A Typical Day Your day runs Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, centered at the front desk where you help keep information moving smoothly. You’ll shift between greeting people as they arrive, routing calls, and tracking details that must be handled promptly and discreetly. Throughout the day, you’ll prioritize requests, keep documents organized, and stay attentive to accuracy while supporting the pace of a busy care setting. You’ll coordinate with multiple departments, adjust as needs change, and close out the afternoon by confirming items are in order for the next business day.
