We're looking to bring on a CNC Operator at our location in Vernon, CT. 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLEWhy Work with Us:Competitive hourly wage depending on experienceA solid benefits package including Health, Vision & Dental401k Plan with 50% company match on your contributions up to 8% of your pay with no vesting periodBonus Plan based on personal performance and annual profitsPaid Time Off and Sick TimeA clean working environment with a great company cultureSmall company environment where you can have a significant impact on the future of the organizationThe Position:In this role, the CNC Machinist is expected to:Set-up and operate multi-axis machinesWork with blueprints, operation sheets, and other instructionsLoad material, deburr and inspect parts for conformance to print requirementsCommunicate with supervisor, engineers, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issuesPerform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipmentMaintain an organized, clean and safe working environmentAbout You:Minimum of 2 years of experienceMust be able to setup, optimize feed & speeds, operate and troubleshootFamiliarity with Fanuc controlsExperience utilizing standard gauges and inspection techniques including documentationExperience selecting, setting and changing toolsExperience with inspection documentation is a plusExperience in manufacturing aerospace threaded components and/or other close tolerance parts is a plusAbove all, you have an excellent work ethic and can-do attitude and take pride in the quality of your work and the impact you have within a company
