Join our team as a night shift, PRN, Post–Partum Couplet Care Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Tulsa, OK. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Responsibilities Perform PCT duties and clerical duties under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) and unit manager. Assist with patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, transporting patients, passing meal trays, delivering hygiene care, and answering inquiries within scope of practice. Assist nursing staff by receiving patients at the desk, taking them to the appropriate room, giving initial instruction, transporting discharged patients, and answering inquiries. May act as the unit’s receptionist: assign patients to rooms on board, alert nursing staff to arrivals, pull and prepare charts, order and monitor utilization of selected supplies, and help keep nursing stations clean and organized. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care.
