Forma Life Sciences is a U.S. contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on oral solid dose products. We help pharmaceutical companies develop, manufacture, and commercialize their products.

We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative to build a qualified pipeline of new business. We want someone who has done this before, knows how to create opportunities from a cold start, and takes personal ownership of results. This is a hands-on role for someone with an entrepreneurial streak: you will research accounts, find the right people, earn conversations, and keep opportunities moving.

Requirements

What you’ll do

Identify pharmaceutical and biotech companies whose development or manufacturing needs fit Forma’s capabilities.
Build targeted prospect lists and run outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events.
Develop a working understanding of each prospect’s product, stage, timeline, and manufacturing needs before reaching out.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, arrange meetings for the business development team, and prepare useful account briefs.
Follow up persistently and thoughtfully with prospects over long sales cycles.
Keep the CRM accurate, track outreach and conversion, and use the data to improve your approach.
Work with business development and technical teams to turn early conversations into credible opportunities.

What we’re looking for

Proven success in inside sales, sales development, or business development, ideally in a CDMO, pharmaceutical services, life sciences, or another technical B2B market.
A record of generating qualified meetings and opportunities through outbound prospecting.
Strong research skills and the ability to write concise, relevant outreach.
Confidence speaking with scientific, technical, and business leaders.
Excellent follow-through and the judgment to know when to push, when to listen, and when to change approach.
Comfort working with limited direction, testing ideas, and being accountable for results.

You do not need to arrive knowing every manufacturing process we offer. You do need the drive to learn them, the discipline to build a repeatable sales process, and the initiative to find a way into accounts that are difficult to reach.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000–$110,000 annually , depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
