Must-Have: Previous EPIC experience in a like unit within the last 12 months.

Description: The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered in the first week of the assignment. Provides post-anesthesia nursing care to patients during the immediate post-anesthesia period (phase I). Helps transition patients to phase II level of care, inpatient care settings, or intensive care settings for continued care. Ensures a safe transition from a fully anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions. On-call responsibilities come with a 30-minute response time. On-call is approximately 1-2 days per weekday, depending on weekend on-call. If on-call during the weekend, generally only one weekday on-call is expected. Weekend call rotation typically occurs every fourth or fifth weekend. PALS and ACLS certifications are required.
