- # Registered Nurse - Per Diem Level I - Medical Observation Unit - DaysApply: NCH 800 W Central Rd Arlington Heights: Part time: Posted Today: R40360**Hourly Pay Range:**$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Position**: Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Days* **Location**: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL* **Per Diem Level I - must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks and 24 of those hours must be on weekend time if needed.*** **Hours**: 7:00am - 7:30pm **What you will do:*** Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.* Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.* Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.* Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.* Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.* Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations. **What you will need:*** **Education**: Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing, **required.*** **License**: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois, **required.*** **Certification:** Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, **required.** **Benefits (For full time or part time positions):*** Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
