About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Global Pharmacovigilance Physician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pharmacovigilance strategies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing a team, overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of adverse events and safety data, and ensuring the timely submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities. The Executive Director will also provide pharmacovigilance and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, stay abreast of the latest regulations, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety throughout their lifecycle. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines. The role requires experience in all phases of PV, from early development to commercialization, and a deep understanding of the clinical development process. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, manage a team of professionals, and demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work. Responsibilities also include leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring that safety is a consistent focus across the organization.
