As a member of this dynamic team of professionals you will offer supports to school-district staff in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties. This rewarding role provides the necessary services for students who experience disabilities to access their education in a meaningful and successful way. As part of our regional delivery model, the specialist in this position is surrounded by a team of professionals to consult, problem solve and coordinate educational supports for students with vision needs across our tri-county area.QualificationsValid Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) Special Education: Visually Impaired teaching license with ability to serve children birth – 21 years is required. Dual certification for Orientation and Mobility is strongly preferred.Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study is required.
