In addition to the traditional accounting duties, this position requires a keen analytical mindset to help drive efficiency improvements.Essential FunctionsPrepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements.Maintain financial records for multiple business entities.Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts, to include analysis of accounts for accuracy and reasonableness, and timely follow up and coordination for resolution of any issues.Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Identify and implement new automation/efficiency opportunities to streamline accounting functionsPrepare supplemental reporting and analytics, as needed.Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions with established policies, procedures, and guidelines with accuracy and consistency.Perform cross-functional tasks & objectives.Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive management.Assist with policy and procedure documentation and maintenance.Required/Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.3+ years of experience in an accounting position required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities3+ years of experience in an accounting position required.Experience with Epicor is a plus.Experience with Fixed Assets is a plus.Prior experience in a large manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Standing - OccasionallyWalking - OccasionallySitting - ConstantlyTalking - OccasionallyHearing - OccasionallyRepetitive Motions - FrequentlyZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
