You will manage visitor and employee entry, issue and verify badges, monitor access points and alarm panels, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Using computer-based systems, you will help maintain an orderly environment while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $11.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel and vehicles at entry points and loading areas while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
