Job Title: Restoration Technician
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Restoration Technician, you'll play a vital role in emergency response and ongoing restoration projects. You'll collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality services that satisfy customers and support their recovery efforts.


What You'll Do
As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for
• Working on-call and in all emergency situations as needed to assist clients and mitigate damages
• Managing and supervising a staff team to ensure project success
• Handling conflict, stress, and crisis situations professionally and effectively
• Improving skills, knowledge, and morale for yourself and team members
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment at job sites
• Working independently and within a team to meet project deadlines
• Meeting quality standards and maintaining customer satisfaction
• Managing your own time and assisting others in time management
• Complying with safety procedures, equipment standards, and company policies
• Developing goals and plans to prioritize and organize work efficiently
• Motivating team members to work cohesively and accomplish tasks
• Providing clear communication to supervisors, coworkers, and clients via phone, email, or in person
• Demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail
• Coordinating with the team to ensure timely job completion
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with precision
• Delivering exemplary customer service to clients, vendors, and colleagues
• Building and maintaining collaborative relationships through persuasion and discussion
• Assisting in solving problems and improving company operations
• Managing crises as they occur and resolving issues efficiently
• Communicating clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Applying basic math, data entry, and mobile device skills
• Following company policies and safety procedures
• Using industry standards such as IICRC S500 and relevant restoration practices
• Employing modern office tools including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and industry-specific software (Xactimate, About Time, Contractor Connection, etc.)
• Properly pricing and estimating project costs
• Maintaining OSHA safety compliance and monitoring site safety
• Understanding laws and regulations relevant to project and site management
• Cultivating cooperative working relationships and solving problems proactively


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Prior experience in restoration, construction, or related industry preferred
• Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA regulations, and industry practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Proficiency with industry software and general office tools
• A proactive approach to safety and customer service
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Creedmoor, NC, and offers full-time weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some emergency call-outs may be required outside regular hours.
