As an Onsite Device Installation & Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person at customer sites for Otodata device installs, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting—while keeping communication flowing with our customer service team.

• Deliver standout field service during site visits and dispatches—on time and on point.
• Plan your workflow to hit scheduled tasks and keep operations running smoothly.
• Own on-site work: installations, repairs, maintenance, and equipment testing for proper function and compliance.
• Diagnose issues quickly and apply the best fix to restore performance.
• Log accurate, timely service reports describing work performed, issues found, and resolutions.
• Suggest and refine processes to boost quality and efficiency.
• Drive company vehicles safely and leverage field automation systems to optimize your day.
• Adhere to company protocols and field procedures for consistency and safety.
• Share insights with technical teams; collaborate to strengthen support and service delivery.
• Build trust with customers, vendors, and partners through professional interactions.
• Offer constructive feedback that elevates installs, service quality, and the customer experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate’s degree or technical certification in IT, Electronics, or Engineering (preferred).

• Background in field operations, technical support, or equipment installation/maintenance ; mobile technician experience a plus.
• Proven troubleshooting with electronics or IoT technologies.
• Customer-facing experience with strong communication and problem-solving.

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for vehicle operation.
• No criminal or judicial record related to the services provided.
• Telemetry or gas industry experience (asset).
• Geographic familiarity with the United States (asset).

• Hands-on field service capability—installation, troubleshooting, repair.
• Strong technical diagnostics and compliance mindset.
• Ready to travel up to 75% and work flexible shifts as needed.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and reliable without direct supervision.
• Adaptable to evolving products, processes, and environments.
• Detail-focused with rigorous documentation habits.
• Customer-obsessed with high professional ethics.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
