Clinical Research Coordinator

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) supports a multi-study clinical research program focused on cardiovascular health across the reproductive lifespan, enrolling women from the immediate postpartum period through midlife. The CRC coordinates participant recruitment and study visits—including blood draws and scheduling of advanced cardiac imaging (e.g., echocardiography, cardiac CT/MRI)—manages regulatory requirements such as IRB continuing reviews and renewals, and performs accurate data entry across several concurrent protocols. The CRC also helps direct and mentor students and trainees involved in the research program. This role offers meaningful opportunities for growth into data analysis and manuscript preparation for coordinators interested in developing their research and scholarly skills.

· Identify, screen, and enroll eligible participants across multiple concurrent research studies, spanning the immediate postpartum period through midlife.

· Obtain informed consent in accordance with IRB-approved protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

· Coordinate participant study visits, including phlebotomy/blood draw collection and specimen processing per protocol.

· Schedule and coordinate advanced cardiac imaging studies (e.g., echocardiogram, cardiac MRI/CT) with imaging departments and participants.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants, addressing questions and ensuring a positive, supportive participant experience.

· Prepare and submit IRB continuing review/renewal applications, amendments, and reportable events.
