Schedule/Hours:

• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly on every assignment (excluding on-call)

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• Valid Massachusetts state license (or eligibility for reciprocity)
• One year of recent hospital-based respiratory care experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full scope of respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to patients across all age groups
• Monitor, document, and assess patient response to therapies and interventions
• Collaborate actively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure safety and accuracy of respiratory care equipment
• Respond rapidly to emergent respiratory needs, using sound judgment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols when appropriate
