Ultrasound Technologist Job Category: Radiology & Imaging Requisition Number: ULTRA036175 Posting Details Posted: September 18, 2026 Part-Time On-site LocationsShowing 1 location Big Bend Regional Medical Center Alpine, TX 79830, USA Job Details Description Ultrasound Technologist Part-Time Day Shift - Saturday and Sunday Job Summary Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude to perform a variety of tasks Qualifications Requires a two-year allied health degree and successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology 1+ years of experience in the field Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OBGYN experience and registry required.
