The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time, board certified, Emergency Medicine Physician . We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

Candidates must possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State. 

\n

• Potential starting base salary range: $250-$400K

\n

• Permanent full-time position

Duties include but not limited:

\n

\n
• Perform assessments/examinations on encounters with all presenting, patients
\n
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests necessary to complete the ED evaluation
\n
• Provide attending physician oversight to residents, mid-level providers and students
\n
• Stabilize all critically ill or injured patients
\n
• Admit patients to the hospital or discharge them from the ED with appropriate follow-up
\n
• Discuss treatment plan with patient and or family/caregiver (following COBRA guidelines)
\n
