It could also be based in the greater Northern California region with frequent travel to customer locations. Office presence at the Brea, CA location is occasionally required.Overview: Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA, LLC, a division of INNIO is looking for a Project Manager - Power Generation Systems to join the team. Working as part of our engineering team you will be responsible for field and engineering support for continuous duty and standby power generation systems inclusive of electrical and mechanical equipment. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience with:Electrical and mechanical equipment components and systems Strong organizational and project management capabilitiesManaging a high workload: multi-tasking, multi-organizing, delivering contributions with multiple projects with sometimes conflicting resource requirementsDirect involvement with moving mechanical systems and energized electrical circuitsManaging supply chains, shipping, Customs and importation requirementsAdvanced proficiency with MS Office, operating systems and internet communicationsAccountabilities:Ability to learn and develop skills to manage and produce results in a fast-paced growing business.Ability to make rational and realistic decisions that are based on logical assumptions.Proactive attitude towards confronting and resolving problems. Ability to effectively express and present ideas or tasks to an individual or to a group Ability to travel and remain overnight as required, including international destinationsResults driven: Taking ownership, sense of urgency, hands-on when and where necessary, pro-active.Works independently, takes initiative and completes challenging assignmentsProven ability to work as a team member and collaborate with others Strong customer communication and resource management skills Reviews and verifies project documentation for completeness, format and compliance with contract requirements.Confers with engineers, managers, contractors, customers and others to discuss project, prepare documents or modify contract schedules.Manage Technical Equipment and delivery schedules.Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing reports with project engineers and Commissioning Director. Develop and package reports for submission to manufacturers, customer(s), and corporate database. Work independently and as part of a team to facilitate installation of power plant equipment and systems.Assist customers, engineers, and contractors with electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment through stages of project development, delivery, commissioning, training, and on-going customer support.Coordinate plant pre-start activities, commissioning and field testing through commercial operation.Provide non-technical support to project engineersBe the positive face of the company to the customerOther duties as assignedENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment and physical working characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
