College Guidance Counselor

Responsibilities:
. Student Advising & Counseling
Individual Counseling: Meet one-on-one with students (grades 9–12) to discuss academic planning, course selection, extracurricular involvement, and career aspirations.

College Selection: Assist students in building a balanced list of colleges (reach, match, and safety schools) based on academic profile, financial needs, and personal preferences.

Application Management: Guide students through the application process, including filling out the Common App/Coalition App, writing essays, and preparing for interviews.

Testing Strategy: Advise students on standardized testing timelines (SAT, ACT, AP, TOEFL) and interpret scores to determine appropriate submission strategies.
