RN - Endoscopy

RN - EndoscopyShift: Day 4x9-Hour (06:30 - 15:30) Actual shift: 2-10 hours shifts (6:30-5) and 2-8 hour shifts (6:30-3) equaling 36 hour week. Minimum experience: 1 year; 1st timers are accepted. Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics. Certifications required: BLS and ACLS. General skills and work setting requirements: ERCP - experience required, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), ION procedure. Ratio/census: 1:2; 3 rooms, 11 beds with average daily census of 20. Unit systems: Pyxis, Epic. Scrub color: Navy Blue. RTO: MAX 7 days per contract. RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Weekends: 2-3 weekends per contract. Call requirements: 1 weekday call a week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical screen - candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. Locals accepted - same rate.Patient diagnoses: Not specified.
