Job Description:

Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Remote (Herndon, VA)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Clearance: Able to obtain MBI Clearance

Note: Local to VA will have to go for 4 days on-site and 1 day remote; No West Coast

Job Summary:

Design and implement a secure AWS data store and supporting serverless components for an enterprise financial workflow. Develop DynamoDB access patterns, security controls, monitoring, backup and recovery capabilities, infrastructure automation and integrations with API services.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years building and supporting AWS cloud-native solutions.

• Hands-on DynamoDB data modeling and performance experience.

• Strong AWS IAM, KMS, CloudWatch and Lambda knowledge.

• Infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform or an approved equivalent.

• Python and/or Node.js development experience.

• Git-based CI/CD and deployment experience.

• AWS certification and federal cloud experience preferred.
