Our Behavior Technicians work directly with children and families while implementing individualized ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a clinic-based setting.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills.
- Collect and accurately record data during therapy sessions.
- Follow behavior intervention plans and clinical recommendations.
- Communicate professionally with BCBAs, families, and other members of the clinical team.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for clients.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow all clinic policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Previous ABA experience is preferred but not required
- Must be dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, implement treatment plans, and collect data accurately.
- Must be willing to complete required training and certification requirements.
