Advanced Paramedic | EMT-Paramedic Certified

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Paramedic to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region. This vital role involves delivering immediate medical care in emergency situations, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide critical care on-site.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications, including intravenous drugs, and perform advanced life support interventions.
• Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring vital signs and condition.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and supplies to ensure readiness.
• Accurately document patient care and interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with medical teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Support emergency department patient care and participate in rapid response and code events.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Current EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) or Advanced EMT (AEMT) certification.
• Paramedic certification recognized by the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications per American Heart Association standards.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certifications or completion within one year of hire.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license appropriate for the region.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.

• Strong communication skills with patients and families.
• Willingness to work varied environments including pre-hospital and hospital settings.
• Adherence to all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
