Central Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Our Veterinary Technicians are empowered, respected medical professionals who play a vital role in patient care and client experience. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with doctors, support staff, and leadership in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality medicine and excellent communication.
Technicians are encouraged to utilize their full skill set, including surgical assistance, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education. We strongly support professional growth through mentorship, continuing education, and leadership development opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on veterinary experience and be confident in both technical skills and client communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Patient restraint and handling
Anesthesia administration and monitoring
Surgical and dental assistance
Laboratory and radiology procedures
Pharmacy and medication management
Routine medical care and diagnostics
Accurate medical record keeping
Client education and communication
Veterinary Technicians are integral to our hospital's success and are expected to collaborate effectively, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute positively to team culture.
Applicant Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong focus on client service and patient care
Knowledge of animal handling, common veterinary drugs, and clinical procedures
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism
High school diploma (required)
Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience (required)
Degree in veterinary or related field (preferred)
Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $22.00 $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
