Work Environment\nThis position is based in a remote outpatient office setting, providing flexibility while enabling you to engage effectively with clients. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms to provide a comprehensive understanding of their needs. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally sensitive. \n
- Utilize proven therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address client concerns and facilitate healing. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey. \n
- Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans that address the full spectrum of client needs. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research related to mood disorders and therapeutic interventions to continually enhance treatment approaches. \n
- Manage client documentation diligently, adhering to all legal and ethical standards regarding privacy and confidentiality. \n
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training opportunities to support your ongoing professional development. \n
- Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met within the community. \n
The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those from marginalized communities such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. \n

- Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach are essential to effectively support clients through their struggles. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities. \n

- The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n
