Bartender - Full Time

Essential Job Functions: Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner according to our Service Essentials. Recite complete list of beverage selections. Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. Input and control ordering through register during each transaction maintaining accountability as well as receipts to guests for all beverages served. Frequently check back with and entertain guests. Prepare bar for next shift, bringing all fruit and supply levels back to par. Sell tokens for gaming machines. Maintain cleanliness of guest areas at all times to include removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays. Abide by all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and potentially intoxicated guests. Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.) Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy. Other Job Functions: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. May be assigned as a dual rate with another F&B position. Job Qualifications: Experience Required: Previous bartending in a high volume setting preferred. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Ability to communicate effectively with others; able to understand and comply with Company and departmental rules and regulations. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 3; Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit. Obtain/maintain company alcohol awareness certification.
