Certified Nurse Midwife Job Opening in San Luis Obispo, California

This accredited birth center is located along the central coast of California, and is expanding its midwifery team to meet growing client demand. The incoming Midwife joining this practice will manage a caseload built around two clinic days and two on-call days per week, with an average of one birth expected per on-call rotation. This position also includes three days off per week and a minimum of four weeks of paid vacation annually. Part-time (swing) positions are also available for candidates seeking a more flexible schedule. The practice offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of solo midwife practice experience
• Comfortable providing on-call coverage, including nights and weekends, as part of a rotating schedule
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small birth center team
• NARM certification (Certified Professional Midwife)
• Active California Licensed Midwife (LM) license
