Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CVT/Assist Technician to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) and provide technical assistance to ensure efficient and accurate service operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) on a variety of vehicles.
- Assist lead technicians with complex transmission repairs and rebuilds.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CVT systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify transmission issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors regarding repair status and technical details.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest CVT technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with CVT systems preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
