Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Position Summary Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and preparing warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise, maintain quality, and help members with bakery orders. The role requires juggling tasks and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; communicate effectively; be flexible and work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan mass production; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate and sanitize equipment. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide customer attention. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department; model high‑quality service; execute basics at highest quality; exhibit energy and passion. Ensure quality and date‑control standards; keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality product. Maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area. Comply with company policies and standards, using the Open Door Policy, and implementing related action plans. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers and peers; identify priorities and recommend improvement opportunities. Assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
