Description: The MRI technician will work in a fast-paced environment. The technician will perform MRI scans on patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Duties will include routine neuro imaging, body imaging, and routine musculoskeletal scans. The technician may also assist with cardiac imaging and MRI procedures with anesthesia assistance. A variety of patients with different diagnoses will be encountered, including those with routine workups and new diagnoses of cancer. The area operates seven days a week, providing imaging services for both outpatients and inpatients. The candidate must be comfortable working with implants and pacemakers, both conditional and non-conditional types. The position will involve working in an interdisciplinary team environment. The candidate may be required to float within scope if needed. The facility has a natural nail policy. The average daily census is approximately 60 patients. Additional training and modules may be assigned during the position. Candidates should expect to complete any required modules during their assignment promptly.
