Insurance Authorization Specialist

To support clinical trials, the full-time remote Insurance Authorization Specialist will verify insurance policy benefits, obtain authorizations for services not covered by clinical trials, and ensure a high level of customer service for patients and team members. Key responsibilities Verify insurance benefits and compile lists of standard care procedures for clinical trial patients Request and manage authorizations for services, ensuring continuity of care and addressing any coverage changes Provide exceptional customer service as a liaison between patients and support staff, maintaining effective communication across the organization Required qualifications High School Diploma 2 years of related experience and 1+ years of healthcare experience Preferably an Associate's Degree with experience in healthcare insurance authorization
