Lead Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Press Operator to run and maintain a steam heated, lamination press. This position involves loading materials, operating the machine, monitoring production, and ensuring quality finished parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate hydraulic lamination press
Load and unload materials
Start, monitor, and stop press runs
Unload materials and inspect for accuracy and quality
Clean press and work area regularly
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Report machine issues or production problems to supervisor

Requirements:

Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and use measuring tools
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual

Preferred (but not required):

Experience in operating hydraulic press
Experience in lamination of plastics
