Mortgage Financing Intern

Join us for the summer and apply your schoolwork to real-life business situations with a growing industry leader.

As a Mortgage Financing Intern, you will receive hands on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process and in the daily operations of NVR Mortgage. You'll receive practical experience in closing, post-closing, compliance, loan product overview and disclosure analysis and completion while learning about the regulatory process that governs the mortgage industry. You will gain valuable experience, embrace key responsibilities, and be compensated for it. Plus, many of our past summer interns are now full-time employees.

This position is based on-site in our NVR mortgage offices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they audit loans, work with investors and prepare documents needed for closings
• Learn how to work as a team to ensure customers meet their settlement date in a highly competitive marketplace
• Gain experience in the overall mortgage process and workflow
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports
• Spend time with sales, origination, and production teams to experience the hard work and management skills that come together to deliver a customer's dream home

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship is preferred)
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
• Strong organization and adaptability skills
• Students from all degree majors are welcome
