Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Float

Position Overview

The Med Surg Float RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of settings. This role involves working with diverse patient populations and adapting to different departments as needed.

Shift Information

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• FTE: 0.9
• Hours/Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care through assessment, monitoring, and treatment.
• Float between various medical-surgical units as required.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards.

Qualifications

• Certifications:
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Vaccination Requirements:
  
  
  • Flu vaccine required
  • COVID vaccine required
• Clinical Experience: EPIC experience required.
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Additional Information
