Delivery Driver - CDL Class A or B

Job Description

Job Description

Description:

SCHEDULE:   Tuesday - Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm (end time varies daily; based on 10-12 hour shifts with 30 minute lunch)

Our crews deliver the drinks people love to grocery stores, convenience stores, bars, and restaurants across the state. Next time you grab a cold one from a fully stocked cooler, there’s a good chance a Summit driver loaded it. We’re local, we’re growing, and we’re looking for drivers who want to grow with us.

Why You’ll Love It Here

• Work four days, enjoy three. You drive Tuesday through Friday, so every weekend is a long one for hiking, fishing, skiing, or family time.
• Sleep in your own bed every night. These are local routes only, with no long hauls and no nights on the road.
• Get rewarded for great work. Our monthly bonus adds to your paycheck when you deliver.
• Count on steady work all year. Beverages sell in every season, so your paycheck doesn’t take a slow season.
• Win as a team. You’ll have daily support from Helpers, Supervisors, and Sales Reps, so any challenges on the road get solved together.

A Day on the Road

• Hit the road in a Class A company truck and work through your route of retail accounts around the greater Helena area.
• Unload product and move it to back rooms to the sales floor.
• Stock, rotate, and face product so coolers, shelves, and displays look their best.
• Set up eye-catching promotional displays.
• Become a familiar, friendly face to store managers and work with other departments daily

Pay & Perks

• Pay Range: $23 - 25.00/hour, plus bonus incentives. Wage dependent on CDL License status
• Insurance : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life + additional options available.
• Retirement with Company Match
• Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
• Uniforms, Gym and Phone Reimbursements

Requirements

What You Bring

• A current CDL and a valid DOT medical card
• A solid driving record and the ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Previous delivery experience (grocery, retail, or beverage experience is a big plus)
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• The strength to lift 50 lbs. routinely and to move loads of up to 160 lbs. with equipment
• A can-do attitude in any Montana weather, sunshine or snow

Physical and Other Requirements: This position requires a minimum of four 10-hour days Tuesday – Friday. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and quantity of deliveries, sometimes exceeding 10 hours.
