Bring your passion for teaching and commitment to supporting students with diverse needs to a rewarding contract role as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity involves working onsite with K-8 resource students, providing individualized educational support, and playing a crucial role in developing students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Offer case management services to students with IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
• Accurately maintain and update student records to reflect ongoing progress and compliance.
• Develop and implement a full continuum of educational services tailored to student needs.
• Serve as a consultant in the Response to Intervention (RtI) process.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Provide effective behavior management support and implement behavior intervention plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educational staff to facilitate classroom accommodations and modifications.
• Create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in other assigned duties supporting student achievement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proven experience working in a school resource setting with K-8 students.
• Strong understanding of IEP compliance and implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills.
