Estimator - Commercial Drywall & InteriorsLocation: Atlanta, GAJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: $90,000 - $120,000About the OpportunityAn established commercial construction contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its growing New Build Construction team in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented estimating professional with a background in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior systems.The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates, reviewing project documents, performing takeoffs, and supporting the pursuit of commercial construction projects across a diverse client base.ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software.Analyze project requirements and identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities.Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.Prepare competitive proposals and bid submissions.Work closely with operations and project management teams to support successful project delivery.Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with project handovers following award.Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.Support multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.RequirementsPrevious estimating experience within commercial drywall and interiors construction.Strong understanding of drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related systems.Experience using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) is required.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Experience estimating large-scale commercial projects is preferred.What's on Offer?Competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.Stable, long-term opportunity with a respected commercial contractor.Strong pipeline of new construction projects.Collaborative team environment.Career growth and advancement opportunities.Full-time office-based role in Atlanta, GA.If you're an experienced commercial drywall estimator looking to join a growing operation with a strong project backlog and excellent career prospects, we'd love to hear from you.
