Position Overview We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to become a vital member of our expanding imaging team. With cutting-edge ultrasound technology at your disposal, you will perform diagnostic procedures, partner with a compassionate team of health professionals, and provide patients with peace of mind through accurate imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, offering clear explanations and compassion throughout
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Expertly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, identifying and reporting any issues without delay
- Accurately document procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality within the electronic medical record system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program in Sonography highly preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
