Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician As a Maintenance Technician at IPL Schoeller, you will support our manufacturing plants by maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Provide technical interface to Product Development for smooth and efficient transfer of products and processes. Perform machine repair, including electrical, circuit boards, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, material delivery systems, compressors, chillers, and work on silos more than 50 feet high. Record operational data such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds, and speeds for setup and preventative maintenance records. Comply with all pertinent OSHA standards. Follow and understand acceptable quality control systems associated with parts and tooling. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and records for all manufacturing equipment. Provide technical support to manufacturing team for all manufacturing processes and facility support. Read parts breakdown and machine electrical and hydraulic schematics. Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience 2-4 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of large precision molds and large tonnage machines. Required Certifications / Licensure None. Qualifications Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
