Cardiac Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiography procedures to assess cardiac function and structure. This role supports diagnostic efforts by providing high-quality imaging under the guidance of physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Analyze and interpret images to assist physicians with diagnosis.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in compliance with clinical standards.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols during all procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of experience specifically within cardiac imaging.
• Possess current RDCS or RVT certification from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiography studies.
• Have a valid BLS certification.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including varying shifts from 8 am to 6:30 pm.
