Sr. DSP Medical CoordinatorThe Sr. DSP Medical Coordinator is responsible for all of the duties of a Direct Support Professional plus scheduling, tracking and documenting all medical appointments, as well as scheduling all labs and required tests.The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. Hab. progress notes when appropriateTrack all medical appointments and follow-up appointments and document in tracking formsTrack all lab tests, as well as other tests and ensure correct documentation in medical tracking logDocument all consults, refusals and MD recommendations appropriatelyEnsure that medication inventories are completed at least weekly, ad will order new medication as prescribed, in a timely manner, and maintain the medication storage area in accordance with regulationsIdentify medication errors and communicate the errors to the nurse and manager effectivelyCommunicate with the nurse and manager via a Medical Communication LogFollow all AMAP proceduresAttend ISP or other meetings when requestedMaintain open lines of communication with management and staffQualificationsNYC Driver license or driver license requiredHS Diploma or GED required1+ year of HHA experience required, CNA experience a plus2+ years of Direct Support Professional experience a plus#IND-NYDSPPay RangeUSD $21.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
