Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $235,000 – $365,000 plus additional bonuses

An Am Law 100 firm with a large, nationally recognized real estate practice, named one of Vault's top 10 firms for real estate law and recognized by Legal 500 for real estate finance. The Real Estate Finance team acts for institutional lenders, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds and debt funds, on construction, bridge, permanent, mezzanine, syndicated and securitized financings across every major asset class. The group works alongside the firm's land use, construction and litigation teams, with an active loan modification and workout practice, so associates see deals from every angle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage financing transactions from inception through closing
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related financing instruments
• Review title, survey, zoning and other due diligence materials
• Coordinate with clients, borrowers' counsel and other transaction participants
• Support loan modifications, workouts and restructurings as they arise

What They're Looking For

• 2 to 5 years of commercial real estate finance experience, ideally representing institutional lenders
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and managing financings through closing
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Large regional, national or international law firm experience preferred
