Job Details Per Diem Day hours; NO WEEKENDS, NO CALL Job Description Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Perinatal Imager at Jefferson Health. Perinatal Imagers are responsible for performing ultrasound examinations of prenatal patients following established protocols, maintaining records and documents, assisting physicians with invasive uterine procedures as needed, and ensuring adherence to all organizational and unit‑based policies and procedures. Positions are Monday through Friday, day hours with no on‑call required. Responsibilities Perform level 1 and 2 ultrasound examinations Perform doppler flow studies Perform transvaginal ultrasounds Assist physicians with invasive uterine procedures (amniocentesis, CVS) Maintain sterile field during procedures Review images and participate in reading sessions Perform additional images when needed Accept and perform add‑on and emergency patients responsibly Maintain records and documents, ensuring accuracy of patient information Complete patient reports and schedule follow‑up appointments Enter data into reporting system Educate obstetrical residents in basic ultrasound Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal function and cleanliness Attend mandatory hospital and/or sonographic in‑services and maintain current knowledge through continuing education Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an AIUM approved ultrasound program 1+ years of perinatal/obstetrical ultrasound experience (amnio and CVS preferred) Current RDMS with an OB/GYN specialty or eligible (must obtain OB/GYN specialty within 6 months of hire) NT and cervical length certification preferred (obtain within 6 months) Fetal echo certification preferred (obtain within 1 year) Annual Trophon EPR high‑level disinfection competency training EMR experience preferred Good computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills EEO Statement Jefferson is committed to providing equal educational and employment opportunities for all persons without regard to age, race, color, religion, creed, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, military status, veteran status, handicap or disability or any other protected group or status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Abington Memorial Hospital
