Job Title: Registered Nurse – In‑House Contract (12‑week) We are seeking an In‑House Contract Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. Responsibilities Communicate with physicians, CCO/co‑workers, as appropriate regarding changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long‑term acute care setting. Manage common medical conditions: respiratory failure requiring ventilation (vapotherm, high‑flow, bipap, cpap, nasal cannula); sedation/pain management; pressor management; cardiac/anti‑arrhythmic management; complicated infections requiring long‑term IV antibiotics; chronic non‑healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. This is a 12‑week contract! Higher rate of pay! Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. ICU, Critical Care or Step‑Down experience is preferred. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
